In our builder, there’s a option for Pro users to make a template more compact by decreasing the font-size, margins, padding, and spaces.

Here’s how to do that:

Step 1:  Click "Customize Design" on the left toolbar

Step 2: Choose "Fonts"

At the bottom of the menu you'll find the link "Font size" with 2 options:

  • S - for small size template
  • M - for default size template

These options are not related to the format of the PDF. If you want to change the size in the PDF you can find out how to do that here.

Step 3
: Choose the size of your template

That's it!

We do not support more customization ( like manual alignment, text justify, etc.) to ensure that the design of each resume is optimized with our tailored sections.

We chose these fonts and sizes after carefully checking whether they are compatible with the most used ATS software.

If you have white space on your resume, you can rearrange sections or try one of our other templates.

When it comes to the content, you’ve got to trim as much content as possible without losing value. For example:

  • Trim introductions (summary 2-3 sentences max, objective 1-2 sentences max).
  • Cut bullet points in the experience section (leave around six points maximum).
